Is this True??

Well everyone knows I have been fighting these last few pounds for months. I finally had gotten fed up because I am doing everything I am supposed to do. Keeping my points to a T, exercising, water etc… Will these pounds budge? No. I have gotten so frustrated I went to the Dr. He said that sometimes due to age and 2 children I probably would not reach my pre-pregnancy weight again. WHY NOT??  Thats all he really said. Does anyone know if this is true? I have fought and fought with this weight. I feel like I made it this far why can’t I reach my goal. But at this time I feel completely defeated!!   If thats not bad enough my dreaded sister in law is in on it. We were dieting at the same time and she reached her goal plus. She is 37 and also two children same ages and she is down to 118. How the heck does she do it?? She is sure to rub it in my face I did it……I did It!! UGH!!!

I feel like I ran a race and stopped right before the finish line. Do I just change my goal and be satisfied? Not sure what else to do. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Of course it’s not true! There’s proof because your sister-in-law did it! Of course it get harder when your closer to your weight, But cut out some carbs for 3 days and that will do the trick.  Trust me Iost 12 1/2/ pounds in 2 weeks. Low carb is the best and you’ll lose more than two.  Just cut out on the white stuff and fruit for 3 days and let me know when you cross the finish line!

Very hard to say.  Everyone is different.  Who knows what she did to get that low and when she starts eating normally again it may come back.  You have done an awesome job getting to where you are now so if that is where you stay it is OK.  Have a great day!!

As far as I know it isn’t true. Keep up the good work and I hope that you are able to lose those last 2 crummy lbs. Stay strong.

I’ve heard that when you hit a plateau it’s because your body has gotten used to what you were doing and you need to make a change in your routine to get things rolling again - like changing exercise. That’s why when you go to the gym they write you a new program every 8 weeks so your body doesn’t have time to adjust. A good friend lost a heap of weight on the herbalife program but then hit a plateau and couldn’t get past it. Her consultant told her she won’t lose any more just walking like she was and that she’d have to do some weight training to keep it going. If you really want to get to your goal weight, don’t give up hope - just  try something new, like going to the gym or boxercise classes. Good luck and hang in there.

Don’t get down on yourself. It takes some people a little longer to get to their goal. I know its frustrating. Try keeping track of what you eat for a couple of days. You may need to change just one thing. Maybe cut out the white stuff for a couple of days. Or exercise a little above your comfort Zone.

I know it stinks when Dr. say just diet and exercise more. I have one that told me he had no answer for me. Then he said if I did I would be on Oprah.  He thinks he is funny.

    Good luck.

You know I don’t think what he said is entirely true. It may take you a little while but I think you will get there. You may have to try a different approach. Maybe you should start to body shape. Get your body the way you want it to look. You may not get to your exact weight but at least you will feel and look good. Good luck.
